Photography has been a burning passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I am originally from New Zealand and made the move across to Australia in March 2009.
After having spent thousands of hours self-teaching, I completed a diploma in photography through the Australian Institute of Photography. This enabled me to obtain extensive knowledge of the mechanics behind taking and reading an image, as well as gaining the expertise required in the post-production of a photo. Having passion and creative flare, along with an approachable manner, has made every photo shoot a great experience producing amazing end results.
Although my website mostly displays my work through fashion and landscape, I have also worked for one of Australia's leading family portrait studio's. It was there I learnt how to evoke emotion and capture natural expressions from anyone no matter what age.
I don't like to limit myself as a photographer who photographs only in one area, as a result of that I’ve been privileged enough to photograph some of the following including 'Restaurant Menu's, Newborn, pregnancy, couples, weddings, landscapes for international hotels, interior, corporate conferences, fashion campaigns, model portfolios and more. Each of these require a completely different technique and skill and present different challenges. Having a wealth of experience across the board enables me to work quickly and evoke the best-suited emotion to whatever the outcome is that you wish to achieve.
